Photography, Concept, Styling, Post Processing, Direction – Asmi Shetty

After learning a few Photoshop hacks and practicing them loads of times I’m still not particularly good at it, but it’s definitely baby steps to something big and better in the near future. Even though there are few obvious flaws in the edits here and there, this post is one of my absolute favorites as everything from the start till the end was executed by me. This year is all about working towards being more independent as I sail further into the crazies of life while constantly exploring, living and documenting ¬†art. The joy one finds in doing what they want and what they love is exquisite.

The thought of summer, of beaches, of ponds, of lilies was the foundation of this post. Maybe, it’s quite early for summer if you reside elsewhere in the world but from where I hail, I’m only getting tanner by the day ( no regrets, whatsoever) as the afternoons get sunnier. Usually, I shy away from color, however, this time I took it upon myself to try something different from the usual. For instance- ¬†Experimenting with bright winged eyes rather than the usual black- Something that we witnessed on the spring/summer 2016 fashion runways.

One moment you will watch me stepping out of my comfort zone and trying something different but the next possible second you’ll see me sheepishly switching back to my basic blacks and whites- cycle of my life, hehe.

Until next time..
